CHANGE IN THE BY-LAWS
In 2017, the City of Ottawa was compelled to amend the by-laws regarding TINY Coach Homes after the provincial government made it clear that it wishes to see an increase in the availability of affordable dwellings. A TINY Coach Home refers to a freestanding building or separate dwelling unit detached from a principal home but located on the same lot.

Prices for office suites, cabins, or any recreational structure (without plumbing, electrical or Cabinetry) to be placed on a trailer or client's property start at $175/sqft. Any Home Improvement projects start at $175/sqft.

The prices listed above do not include, Lot/Property, Connection to the primary or city services, Major upgrades, Survey, Permit Fees, Variance Fees (if applicable), Legal Services, or the cost of moving the completed home to its destination (if applicable). These costs will be determined during the consultation process and a detailed outline of the above will be included in the initial project estimate.
